New Note

There are three forms of the B Minor scale. Memorize these scales.   

When pressing low D key, use the lower portion of your thumb, near the knuckle, so that the tip of the thumb is free to press the whisper key and the C# key for C#2, for instance, or slide down to other low note keys.

Remember to use the slur fingering for Eb3 when slurring to it from below C3. Use the full fingering when slurring a shorter distance or when tonguing the note

Notice the symbol before the first note in the teacher part. That symbol is a tenor clef. Tenor clef will be introduced to you on the next unit.
